This painting reflects many things. To me, it’s the gut wrenching reality we are all facing. It’s the men in suits running our government while hiding skeletons in the shadow. It’s a disease spreading rapidly and permanently changing our world. It’s innocent bloodshed at the hands of a flawed system. It’s us staring at our phones taking in endless amounts of misinformation curated for our individual tastes to benefit corporate interests. It keeps us unaware to the brutality and truth all around us...stay aware.
